20 December, 2017 Good news Madrid airport strike has been cancelled along with Barcelona Airport strike. Lucky you, wow, stars must be all aligned for you.
30 November, 2017 Back again Prosegur airport security workers will strike between December 22 and 8 January 2018.
Here are the hours:-
5:30am - 6:30am, 10:30am - 11:30am, 2pm - 3pm, 7pm - 8pm. (With lunch and dinners everything gets delayed even more)

Baggage handler strike will start Saturday May 30. No end date given.
Baggage handlers to have 20 -30% of salary cuts/lay offs. Ryanair want's to have two baggage handlers per plane.
This is a very busy hub for Ryanair - over 40 destinations. You know the routine, just bring hand luggage, although this doesn't help you if the flight gets cancelled does it. Perhaps Ryanair will bring in outside workers. Passengers who are already on holiday in Spain must be @!*&^#!!

10 June 2014 Madrid and Barcelona, taxi strike will start tomorrow in sympathy with London black cabs strike. As with taxi drivers in Paris and Marseille, France. Strike will start early, 6am. French drivers will block roads to airports and train stations. We presume (Ass-sume!) that Spanish drivers will do the same. It will be hot, you might have to drag your luggage. Elderly and small children will suffer.
